Brockville police hand out tickets during bicycle blitz

BROCKVILLE – A police blitz on bicycles in Brockville’s downtown core and the Brock Trail resulted in 30 tickets and warnings over the weekend.

A majority of the tickets issued between Friday and Sunday (May 14-16) were for not wearing seat belts and muffler-related offences.

The police were responding to complaints about noise, bad behaviour on the bike path and erratic driving.
