Heavy snowfall expected Monday night

Update 8:23 a.m. Monday: The weather advisory has been upgraded to a snowfall warning.

BROCKVILLE – Get ready to crack out the snow shovel or the snowblower this week.

Environment Canada is calling for heavy snowfall across Brockville and Leeds-Grenville.

It will start with a few centimeters of light snow on Monday and then heavier snow will start on Monday night and continue Tuesday.

We could get 15 to 25 centimeters (6 to 10 inches) of snow by the time it’s done.

In its special weather statement issued Sunday afternoon, Environment Canada says snowfall warnings may be issued as the snow heads our way.
