Salvation Army six figure campaign finish in Brockville-Prescott

(Newswatch Group/Bill Kingston, File)

PRESCOTT – The money in those red kettles over Christmas time really added up in Brockville and Prescott.

The local Salvation Army kettle campaign had its best year to date, bringing in $101,000 for programs and services locally, like the Christmas hampers.

The campaign ran from the middle of November until Christmas Eve.

While the fundraising had an impressive finish, it was shy of the $110,000 goal.
