BROCKVILLE – Parks staff with the City of Brockville have put a fire ban in place — the final municipality in Leeds-Grenville to put some sort of restriction in place.
The City announced this morning (Friday) on its Twitter account that there is no burning of any kind allowed within city limits and no campfires on city islands or St. Lawrence Park.
The ban is in effect until “some significant rainfall and grass conditions change,” the City said.
Other municipalities across the region have either partial or full restrictions. You can find the entire rundown here.
