ELGIN – A Rideau Lakes Township man is facing several charges including stunt driving after leading O.P.P. officers on a pursuit Wednesday night.
A Leeds County O.P.P. officer tried to stop a vehicle while on routine patrol in Elgin around 10 p.m. but the driver fled.
The suspect vehicle was found a little while later, south of the village, and the driver was arrested without incident, police said.
The 45-year-old suspect is facing charges of stunt driving, impaired driving and flight from police.
