IROQUOIS – If you’re boating on the St. Lawrence River this week you won’t be able to get out of the west end of Lake St. Lawrence by way of the dam gates.
The Iroquois Dam gates were closed Monday and will remain that way through Friday (Nov. 4) to permit maintenance work.
Boaters will have to use the Iroquois Lock to get through.
Ontario Power Generation is also reminding water users to always be careful around dams and generating stations.
