Superstore stalker; person of interest sought in case

BROCKVILLE – City police are looking to speak to a man caught on closed-circuit camera inside the Real Canadian Superstore.

At this point, the man is described by police as a “person of interest” in the case at the grocery store at 1972 Parkedale Avenue.

Det. Sgt. Tom Fournier said a man had been following two teenage girls around the cosmetic section while they shopped between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016.

The girls found a store manager and reported the stalker, who in turn called police the next day (Oct. 30).

Police have released a photo of the person of interest and are asking anyone with information to call Brockville police at 613-342-0127.
