BROCKVILLE – Drivers near Gananoque are dealing with whiteout conditions Friday afternoon.
A section of eastbound lanes of Highway 401 were closed after a 10 vehicle collision with heavy flurries in the area around mile marker 657 to 659.
The section of road has since reopened as of 2 p.m., according to 511Ontario.
Tow trucks were on the scene pulling a tractor-trailer out of the ditch.
Police are dealing with a number of crashes on Highway 401 Friday afternoon, mostly due to people not driving to the conditions.
There’s no word on any injuries.
