BROCKVILLE – It’s going to be a cold one this weekend – the coldest weather we’ve seen so far this winter.
As a result, Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold warning for Leeds-Grenville.
With a cold front passing through the region tonight (Friday) and a gusty northwest wind, the agency says wind chills will reach minus 35 to minus 40.
The high tomorrow (Saturday) won’t get above minus 21 but it will still feel bitterly cold with the wind.
You’re being advised to dress warmly and in layers and make sure to keep skin covered when outside.
It will be a little better on Sunday (high of minus 14) and will warm up more on Family Day Monday (high of minus 5).
