TORONTO – A Merrickville mustard producer now has their product just a few steps away from the wheels of provincial government.

Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark recently showed off a jar of mustard from Mrs. McGarrigle’s Fine Food Shop, one of four varieties available at the Legislative Assembly gift shop.

“It’s yet another example of how our outstanding local food products are gaining recognition far beyond the riding’s borders,” Clark said.

During a panel discussion at the recent Leeds-Grenville Economic Development Summit, owner Janet Campbell said her company had just signed a deal with Sobey’s in Quebec.

Mrs. McGarrigle’s also has plans for three new products in 2016.
