KEMPTVILLE – The Municipality of North Grenville has parted ways with its chief administration officer (CAO).
The municipality announced recently that Brian Carre is “no longer an employee.”
“On behalf of my Council colleagues, we want to wish Mr. Carre every success in his future endeavours, and thank him for his innumerable efforts on behalf of North Grenville,” Mayor Nancy Peckford said in a prepared statement.
A senior manager will be named Acting CAO “for a few weeks” while North Grenville looks for a replacement and might hire an external interim CAO.
A CAO search is expected to start “later in November.”
Council has its sights set on finding someone “who can build on the collaborative leadership approach” that is a main point of the Council Work Plan.
