GANANOQUE – Provincial police have identified the driver killed in a single vehicle crash on a rural road, west of Gananoque, on Tuesday (Sept. 24).
Provincial police say 18-year-old Emily Smith of Gananoque died after her car crashed on Deer Ridge Drive sometime around 4:40 a.m., about eight kilometers west of town.
Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
O.P.P. traffic collision investigators and a reconstruction expert are investigating to determine the cause.
