GANANOQUE – The provincial government has agreed to a $1.9 million addition to St. Joseph Catholic School in Gananoque.
Local MPP Steve Clark was joined by members of the Catholic school board and county officials for the announcement Friday afternoon in Gananoque.
The addition to the Georgiana Street building will add three child care rooms for 49 child care spaces as well as an Ontario Early Years Center.
The EarlyON Center will be partially funded by the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville with $336,000 coming from the county.
This school improvement is part of the Ontario government’s budgeted $13 billion in capital investment over the next decade.
