Drunk wheels into police station to register bicycle

BROCKVILLE – The phrase “no good deed goes unpunished” might apply to this guy.

Brockville police say they arrested a 52-year-old man Sunday afternoon at the police station for drunk driving.

Apparently, the officer at the front counter could smell the liquor on the guy’s breath and gave him a Breathalyzer, which he failed.

The man – who police say twice over the legal limit – had driven to the station to register a bicycle.

His vehicle was impounded for a week and his driver’s licence suspended for three months. He’s also facing charges of impairing driving and over 80.
