BROCKVILLE – The first federal candidates debate in Leeds-Grenville, Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes will take place Friday afternoon in Brockville.
The housing candidates debate starts at 3 p.m. at the Brockville Retirement Living on Stewart Boulevard.
The event, which is expected to last up to 1.5 hours, will touch on various topics around affordable, non-profit housing and homelessness.
There will be no questions taken from the audience.
The candidates in the riding are Conservative (incumbent) Michael Barrett, Liberal Josh Bennett, New Democrat Michelle Taylor, Green Lorraine Rekmans and Alexander Morrison with the People’s Party of Canada.
