BROCKVILLE – New Democrat Michelle Taylor is hoping third time’s the charm in running for political office in Leeds-Grenville.
Taylor announced Saturday (June 22), following a nomination meeting, that she is the NDP candidate in the October federal election for Leeds-Grenville, Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes.
Taylor ran in the federal by-election in Leeds-Grenville in December and the provincial election in 2018.
“I strongly feel that over the last year, what started as me making a space for myself on the political stage of our riding has grown to something far more than I ever expected…it has become a movement that is building steadily with people who are taking ownership of the push for positive change,” she said in a statement.
We go to the polls Monday, Oct. 21.
