BROCKVILLE – A Brockville native with a dental practice in Prescott has been named the president of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA).
Dr. Kim Hansen has been running his Water Street West practice since 1985.
He was also the first local dentist to volunteer his services to Canadian Aid for Chernobyl, the ODA said in a news release.
Dr. Hansen wants to bring attention and awareness to the connection between mental health and overall health, including dental care and also end financial barriers to dental care.
The Ontario Dental Association is a voluntary professional association for dentists, which represents about 9,000 dentists across the province.
