BROCKVILLE – An industrial tools and equipment company from Sweden has bought Brockville’s PSI Compressors.
Atlas Copco announced the purchase today (Friday) and says it will help it branch into Eastern Ontario.
“It allows us to increase direct sales and services in this important region,” said company spokesman Vagner Rego.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Brockville operation on Coons Road in Elizabethtown-Kitley, which services and sells compressors and other components for various business sectors, will become part of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique division.
PSI Compressors was already an authorized Atlas Copco dealer, according to its website.
