Hobbs stays on as Brockville chamber tourism manager

BROCKVILLE – A little over a year after she filled in for maternity leave, Katherine Hobbs has been hired as the tourism manager for the Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber made the announcement Tuesday (March 5).

Hobbs had been filling in since December 2017 before the position evolved into a full-time permanent job, the chamber said.

Hobbs has worked in communications, social media and public relations in Canada and Africa.

She is a former Ottawa city councillor and was behind an award-winning public square in the capital city.
