WESTPORT – Police have ruled out foul play after a man’s body was found in a home on Perth Road North (County Road 10) Thursday morning.
Leeds County O.P.P. had initially treated the death of the 52-year-old as suspicious and had appealed to the public for information.
But after a day of work by the O.P.P. Forensic Identification Unit, investigators concluded the man’s death in Rideau Lakes Township was not suspicious.
The case has been closed.
