BROCKVILLE – Business owners from Prescott, Athens and Brockville are the latest recipients of the Ben TeKamp Memorial Award.
Leslie Bottigoni of LeMar Luxe Spa Studio in Prescott, James and Kelsey Budyinski of Elgin Street Convenience and Gas Bar in Athens and Sophie Cushing of Thousand Islands Hearing Centre were the latest recipients.
The award recognizes exceptional and outstanding businesses in Leeds and Grenville which are new or reinvesting in their business.
Ben TeKamp – a three-term Brockville mayor and business owner – was a man who championed local economic development in the public and private sectors.
The awards were handed out Tuesday during a ceremony at Court House Lodge.
This is the third year for the awards.
