BROCKVILLE – This is not the kind of “run in” you want with the police.
City police ticketed a driver Tuesday after a collision at an intersection involving an O.P.P. cruiser.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. at Stewart Boulevard and Jefferson Drive.
In addition to Brockville police, Leeds-Grenville paramedics were called to the scene to check on the wellbeing of an elderly passenger in a four-door sedan.
The driver, a 57-year-old man from the United States, was ticketed with failing to stop for a red light.
The O.P.P. officer in the cruiser was not injured, city police said.
