
BROCKVILLE – City police say a handgun was used during an armed robbery of a Mac’s convenience store Saturday night.
A man, believed to be in his late 20s, walked into the store on King Street West just before 9 p.m. and demanded cash while producing the gun.
The clerk complied with his demands and the suspect got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police are now looking for a suspect – who is white with facial hair, dark-coloured eyes, a slim build and was wearing a dark coat with a plaid scarf.
