
BROCKVILLE ā Someone bought a ticket in Brockville that is now worth $500,000.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation announced Saturday that one of the Maxmillions prizes during Friday’s Lotto Max draw was split between two people.
One of those two tickets was sold in Brockville.
There were another four $500,000 Maxmillions tickets in Georgetown, Mississauga, Kitchener and Barrie.
Friday’s Lotto Max draw was for $60 million, plus 40 Maxmillions prizes of $1 million each. There were nine Maxmillions prizes won in Ontario, including one in Ottawa. The $60 million jackpot was picked up on a winning ticket somewhere in Quebec.
Winners have a year from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
