BELLAMY’S MILL – An Athens Township man is dead after a single vehicle crash on County Road 8 near here.
Provincial police were called to the scene, about 35 kilometers northwest of Brockville, around noon Thursday.
Investigators say a vehicle travelling west, left the road and struck a guard rail.
The driver – James Washer, 86, of Athens Township – died at the scene.
The crash happened west of the intersection of Lake Eloida Road.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
