Gan police collecting for local food bank

GANANOQUE – Town police officers will be doing some extra duties this weekend to help the local food bank.

The Gananoque Police Service will hold its third annual Cram-A-Cruiser event at the Gananoque No Frills and Metro parking lots.

The collection on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. will support the Gananoque Food Bank.

This will be the third year for the event.

In its first year, Cram-A-Cruiser filled two police cars and an SUV, as well as collected $1,754 in cash donations.
