Mother, child hit on Kemptville street

KEMPTVILLE – Police are looking for the driver who hit a baby stroller on a Kemptville street Tuesday.

Grenville County O.P.P. say the 24-year-old Kemptville mother was pushing her five-month-old while walking on Clothier Street around 2 p.m. when a black sedan struck the stroller coming out of a parking lot.

The collision happened at the entrance to the Benson Automotive parking lot on the north side of Clothier.

The driver backed up and went around the mother and baby before driving off, police said.

The mother and baby were not injured.
