Visitation, funeral details for Tim Bond

NORTH GRENVILLE – More details have been released on the weekend visitation and Monday funeral for Tim Bond.

The former chief of the Kemptville Fire Department died Monday in hospital after a year-long cancer battle.

He was 65.

Visitation is happening tomorrow (Oct. 1) from 2-4 p.m. and again on Sunday (Oct. 2) from 2-4 p.m. at the Brown Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry funeral home at 805 Prescott Street in Kemptville.

A funeral will take place Monday (Oct. 3) at 2 p.m. at the North Grenville Municipal Center.

There will be a static honour guard with current and former fire department members and other uniformed services.

Municipal flags will be flown at half staff on the day of the funeral.
