Police looking for Prescott razor thief

PRESCOTT – Police are looking for a man who managed to get away with nearly $1,700 in razor blade products from a local grocery store.

Const. Suzanne Runciman told Brockville Newswatch the man was spotted in the store by a loss prevention officer yesterday (Sep. 12) in O’Reilly’s Your Independent Grocer but managed to get away with just razor products.

It happened around 2:20 p.m. when Prescott O.P.P. were called to the scene.

The suspect is described as roughly 6 feet tall with a thin build, a partial mustache and undergrowth under his chin.

He was wearing a grey hoodie with one white sleeve and blue on the hood, beige khaki shorts, a red baseball cap, white ankle socks and black flip flops.

He was last seen hearing south toward McKenzie Road.

The razor products are said to be worth $1,694.57.
