
BROCKVILLE – Brockville police found more than they bargained for during an impaired driving spot check on Friday (Aug. 26).
During a random stop at a RIDE spot check on Stewart Boulevard, officers could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle.
It turns out, there was just over two pounds (0.90 kilograms) of marijuana in the vehicle and some hashish as well.
The drugs are said to be worth $10,000 on the street.
A 43-year-old man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
