BROCKVILLE – A Brockville convenience store was held up, not once, but twice over the weekend.

City police said the Mac’s Milk at 250 King Street West was robbed by a knife-wielding suspect around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

It happened again just before midnight Monday (11:56 p.m. Sunday).

In both cases, the male perpetrator had a shirt pulled up over his face and pulled a knife, threatening a store employee, before getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

In one case, the suspect was wearing a pair of sunglasses and the shirt was light-coloured and long-sleeved.

Police haven’t said whether the two cases are connected or if they believe one suspect carried out both robberies.

If you have any information, you’re asked to call Brockville police at 613-342-0127 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
