Brockville police chief receives international award

BROCKVILLE – The city’s police chief has been recognized by his American counterparts for his law enforcement leadership.

Police Chief Scott Fraser was awarded the International Leadership Award by the New York State and Eastern Canada chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates.

The award was given during the chapter’s conference July 3-6, 2016 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

“Chief Fraser serves as a significant leader in our community and inspires those around him with his energy and positive attitude. He is highly respected within the community for his dedication and professionalism in leading a progressive police service in the City of Brockville,” the Brockville Police Service said in a release.

Fraser is a graduate of the 226th Session FBI National Academy.
