BROCKVILLE – With the extremely dry conditions, the city fire department is enforcing a burning ban at St. Lawrence Park and all city-owned islands.
The no burning policy is in effect today (July 7) and will be in place until further notice.
There are 16 developed Brockville Islands, from South Twin Island in the west to McNair and Murray Islands in the east of the river.
