BROCKVILLE – A teenage Brockville area boy is facing charges after a family quarrel in a car escalated to the point where it involved another motorist.

The Saturday night squabble started after the mom had confronted her 17-year-old son about a bong she found in the vehicle, police said.

The boy threw the marijuana-smoking device out the car window and hit a passing motorist on King Street West.

Brockville police said the youth, who was already on conditions for outstanding charges, was charged with breaching conditions and mischief.
