BROCKVILLE – A woman got quite the scare early this morning (Monday).

City police were called to a south-end apartment building just before 1 a.m. after she found a large snake on the floor.

The woman also had time to snap a picture of the snake before it slithered into an air vent.

Brockville police notified reporters around 3:30 p.m. Monday the snake had been captured and “is in good hands.”

Police also learned the corn snake had been lost by a previous tenant in the building about two months ago.
