
GANANOQUE – Provincial police say they caught a drunk driver with a baby in the vehicle after someone phoned in a complaint.
It happened Friday just after noon when officers received a complaint about a driver on the 1000 Islands Parkway.
Leeds County O.P.P. said Breathalyzer readings showed the man driving was almost three times over the legal limit.
Another man was also in the vehicle, along with an infant.
A 41-year-old man from Kingston is facing impaired driving-related charges.
Leeds County O.P.P. remind motorists that RIDE spot checks are always going on at various times and locations.
