ALGONQUIN — A woman critically injured in a two-vehicle crash on County Road 15 has died in hospital.
Grenville County O.P.P have identified the victim as Sherry Campbell, 44, of Brockville, Ont.
Campbell’s car was hit by a southbound tractor-tractor when the rig’s trailer swung into the oncoming lane in the apex of a curve in the road.
It happened Tuesday afternoon between Montana Way and the Sixth Concession.
The mangled 2008 Dodge Avenger landed in a grassy ditch a distance from the road.
Campbell was rushed to hospital. She succumbed to her injuries in hospital, police reported Thursday morning.
The 71-year-old trucker from the Kitchener area was not hurt.
An investigation is ongoing and O.P.P. have not said if charges will be laid.
