PRESCOTT – Provincial police are investigating a suspicious fire in Augusta Township.
Grenville County O.P.P. and the Augusta Township Fire Department were called around 7 a.m. this morning (Wednesday) to a home on Kyle Road.
Police say the home was under renovations and was vacant at the time.
There were no injuries.
An O.P.P. forensic team and fire department officials are still on the scene today.
The Ontario Fire Marshal has been notified but it’s unclear whether an investigator will attend the scene.
Kyle Road is roughly 26 kilometers north of Prescott.
