Tackling youth homelessness with mac and cheese

When Chris Elmslie was nine years old, he found himself homeless and alone.

Now 34, he runs his own business, is going back to school for addictions counselling and is happier than ever living in Brockville. But his path to prosperity wasn’t easy, as he experienced homelessness in the depths of both the Manitoba and Ottawa winters.
