As of 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Public Health Ontario reported another 1,290** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 548 none, 42 partial, 617 full, 83 unknown), bringing the total to 627,611. That’s a 0.2 per cent increase in total cases since Wednesday. Of those, 608,896 are resolved (97.0 per cent) and 10,054 people have died (10 more deaths than Tuesday; nine new deaths and one old case added through data clean-up).
There are 309 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 155 in the ICU and 94 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 20,088,793 (40,242 more than Wednesday) and results are pending for 23,263.
Ontario has administered 24,225,882 vaccine doses (75,093 more than Wednesday), 11,311,453 fully vaccinated.
**Peel (71), Toronto (206), York Region (66) and Ottawa (36) account for 379 of today’s cases.
