COVID-19 Ontario Update: November 28, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Public Health Ontario reported another 964** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 498 none, 21 partial, 396 full, 49 unknown), bringing the total to 617,015. That’s a 0.2 per cent increase in total cases since Saturday. Of those, 600,537 are resolved (97.3 per cent) and 9,994 people have died (one more than Saturday).

There are 122 people in hospital (~10 per cent of hospitals not reporting weekend bed census), 135 in the ICU and 76 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,728,845 (29,692 more than Saturday) and results are pending for 11,862.

Ontario has administered 22,928,466 vaccine doses (33,249 more than Saturday), 11,250,989 fully vaccinated.

**Peel (58), Toronto (129), York Region (60) and Ottawa (58) account for 305 of today’s cases.
