As of 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Public Health Ontario reported another 591** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 293 none, 14 partial, 237 full, 47 unknown), bringing the total to 613,522. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Tuesday. Of those, 598,134 are resolved (97.5 per cent) and 9,981 people have died (seven more than Tuesday).
There are 289 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 137 in the ICU and 84 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,599,876 (30,092 more than Tuesday) and results are pending for 15,681.
Ontario has administered 22,833,157 vaccine doses (12,706 more than Tuesday), 11,223,333 fully vaccinated.
**Peel (43), Toronto (74), York Region (48) and Ottawa (23) account for 188 of today’s cases.
