FRANKVILLE – Two people have been arrested and charged in relation to a man’s death a little over a year ago at a home in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township.
OPP say 51-year-old Donald Edward Armstrong was found dead by paramedics and police in a home on Kitley Line 8 Road, about 30 kilometers north of Brockville, on Sept. 20, 2020.
Following an investigation that involved the Office of the Chief Coroner of Ontario and forensic pathologists, two people were arrested this week (Nov. 10).
Leeds County OPP have charged 35-year-old Joseph Myers and 43-year-old Tracey Janes, both of Elizabethtown-Kitley Township, with criminal negligence causing death, failing to provide the necessities of life and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
Myers is facing an additional charge of manslaughter.
Both were released and are scheduled to appear in a Brockville court Nov. 26, 2021.
