(Newswatch Group/File)

BROCKVILLE – A tractor trailer was responsible for knocking out power to a Brockville neighbourhood for a few hours Thursday morning.

City police say the trailer hit a hydro pole and damaged a transformer on private property near Parkedale Avenue West and Windsor Drive around 6 a.m.

Hydro One crews restored power three and a half hours later to the roughly 200 customers affected.

The Brockville Fire Department also closed part of the road while hydro workers made the repairs.

There were no injuries.
