
As of 10:30 a.m. Friday, Public Health Ontario reported another 563** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 259 none, 15 partial, 249 full, 40 unknown), bringing the total to 602,087. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Thursday. Of those, 588,796 are resolved (97.8 per cent) and 9,896 people have died (five more than Thursday).
There are 225 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 129 in ICU and 81 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,096,996 (30,187 more than Thursday) and results are pending for 13,655.
Ontario has administered 22,585,340 vaccine doses (15,901 more than Thursday), 11,063,495 fully vaccinated.
**Peel (44), Toronto (44), York Region (52) and Ottawa (44) account for 184 of today’s cases.
