As of 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Public Health Ontario reported another 356** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 195 none, 13 partial, 126 full, 22 unknown), bringing the total to 599,615. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Friday. Of those, 586,696 are resolved (97.8 per cent) and 9,869 people have died (four more than Friday).
There are 213 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 132 in ICU and 86 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 18,936,035 (26,767 more than Friday) and results are pending for 11,763.
Ontario has administered 22,498,977 vaccine doses (22,323 more than Friday), 11,007,022 fully vaccinated.
**Peel (32), Toronto (45), York Region (24) and Ottawa (18) account for 119 of today’s cases.
