
BROCKVILLE – It’s decision day in Leeds-Grenville, Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes.
This is Election Day (Monday) and voters will have 12 hours to cast their ballot, starting at 9:30 a.m. when the polls open across the riding.
Voters be choosing whether to give incumbent Conservative Michael Barrett – who won a by-election in December 2018 to replace MP Gord Brown who died suddenly – a full four year term.
Barrett is challenged by Liberal Josh Bennett, New Democrat Michelle Taylor, Green Lorraine Rekmans and Alexander Morrison of the People’s Party of Canada (PPC).
In order to vote, you will need to go to the polling station indicated on your voter information card. Remember to bring identification such as a driver’s licence or health card or something with a name and current mailing address.
