New head coach for Brockville Braves

BROCKVILLE – There’s a new head coach for the Brockville Braves.

Randy Jones was introduced during a news conference Friday.

Jones played for nine years in the NHL with four different teams. Most recently, he was coaching a Maritime AAA team.

Jones takes over for Jesse Winchester, who heads to the Ottawa Senators to work on player development.

Jason Hawkins was also introduced has the new coach of the Junior B Tikis. Hawkins is also a former coach of the Braves.

The coaching announcement happened ahead of the weekend tryout camp in Kemptville.
