Two arrested in Garden Street drug bust
Update 3:49 p.m. Friday: This story has been updated to reflect two people have been arrested, charges, and Grenville County O.P.P. was the detachment involved.
BROCKVILLE – Two people have been arrested after Grenville County O.P.P. and the Brockville Police Service acted on a drug warrant at a Garden Street home this morning (Friday).
“At 69 Garden Street, there was a warrant executed there this morning. It was the O.P.P.’s warrant for controlled drugs and substances,” Brockville Police Service Staff Sgt. Andrew Harvie told Brockville Newswatch.
Police arrested 52-year-old Sean O’Connor and 30-year-old Kyle O’Connor – both of Brockville.
Each are facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime and possession of meth, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in other drugs and possession of a dangerous weapon.
Cocaine, crystal meth and crack cocaine was seized at the scene, the O.P.P. said.
Police moved in on the home around 6 a.m.
Both men are being held at the Grenville County O.P.P. detachment in Prescott ahead of a bail hearing.
