Trio’s train tickets for Brockville Via were fake, police say

BROCKVILLE – City police had to escort three people off a Via Rail train Wednesday night after they tried to use fake tickets.

Brockville police were at the Perth Street station around 6 p.m. to remove the three men.

Officers then learned one of them was wanted in British Columbia for fraud.

He’s being held until police from B.C. can come to Brockville to pick him up.

The other two men were removed and sent on their way without any charges.
